Associate – Private Credit and Capital Solutions

Our client is a leading alternatives investment manager operating a range of private capital strategies targeting the Australian and NZ markets. The fund's core strategy involves the provisions of innovative structured financing solutions, tailored directly for clients.

In this diverse role you will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, originating, structuring and executing financing transactions across the capital stack for both corporates and in asset backed situations. The flexibility of the strategy means they can also target "special situations" opportunities, that may well be too risky or intricate for other funds. You will gain experience throughout the entire investment lifecycle - furthering your investor mindset - by ongoing management of existing exposures.

Your growth and development will be supported by a lean, collegiate team with significant investment experience. The origination capabilities of the fund means it’s a busy team with excellent deal flow, so you’ll never be without a learning opportunity.

Suitable candidates will have a strong technical grounding but could come from a range of backgrounds from top-tier institutions, including, but not limited to:

• Other private capital / special situations funds.
• Principal investment teams.
• Investment banking - restructuring advisory, leveraged finance, M&A.

They will be diligent, with a “can do” attitude and a demonstrable interest private capital.
