This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting complex transactions, major project development, and strategic corporate initiatives.
Role Responsibilities:
- Build and review advanced financial models covering project economics, capital structures, and investment returns.
- Support debt and equity financing processes, engaging directly with banks, investors, and advisors.
- Develop high-quality investment papers, board presentations, and financial analyses to support senior decision-making.
- Conduct due diligence on new developments, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Assess M&A and partnership opportunities, including valuations and risk-return considerations.
- Monitor industry, regulatory, and policy trends shaping the energy transition.
- Collaborate with technical, legal, and commercial teams on transactions and project financing.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to junior team members where needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3-5 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, infrastructure advisory, or energy/renewables.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise (DCF, project finance, IRR/NPV, scenario planning).
- Exposure to capital raising, transaction execution, and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of energy markets, project development, or infrastructure deals an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and genuine passion for sustainability and the energy transition.
