Investment Associate - Melbourne Fund Manager

Our client is a respected Melbourne-based Australian fund manager, managing significant funds under management, across a range of strategies including Australian and Global Equities. While the firm is a value-driven investor, their success lies in balancing research-focused views with sector, operational, and management trends, combining strong fundamentals with "real-world" operational perspectives.

They are now seeking an Investment Analyst to join their team, working across both Global Equities and a more concentrated, specialist fund. In this sector-agnostic role, you will support two accomplished Portfolio Managers. The firm values versatility, creativity, and a genuine passion for understanding businesses and identifying actionable investment opportunities. The environment is highly collaborative, yet expectations are high, with a meritocratic career path.

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years’ experience in M&A, Private Equity, or Corporate Development, along with strong modeling skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to to focus on underlying value when markets fluctuate. This role offers opportunities for travel and direct exposure to C-suite executives and senior professionals at leading global brands.
