Senior Associate / Associate within Private Equity

Our client is a renowned Private Equity firm looking for an Associate to join the team in their Sydney office. This is a growth hire and they are keen to engage high quality, dynamic and ambitious PE investors / investment bankers with 3-6 years’ experience.

You will enjoy full support of the local team and regional industry experts, both from an origination / strategic perspective, as well as in deal execution. Within a small team, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough research and analysis of potential investment opportunities
• Assessing market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify attractive investment sectors and opportunities.
• Monitoring and working closely with portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have gained 1-2 years' experience in Private Equity, complemented with a foundation in top tier investment banking or consulting. Experienced investment bankers/consultants with relevant deal experience and a commercial outlook will also be considered.

You will be team oriented and possess the necessary collaborative spirit to work in a lean team across a variety of strategies. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail will be required, as will the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
