This opportunity sits within a specialist mid-market M&A advisory platform focused on delivering strategic outcomes for business owners across a range of sectors. The firm operates a hands-on, execution-focused model, with senior professionals closely involved across all stages of the transaction lifecycle. Due to sustained deal flow and a defined growth strategy, the team is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to take on a pivotal role bridging execution and client leadership.
The role offers full lifecycle exposure across M&A transactions, including preparation of marketing materials, financial modelling, valuation analysis and management of in-market processes. You will take primary responsibility for managing transactions, including due diligence coordination, investor engagement and negotiation processes, while working closely with senior stakeholders. In addition to execution, the role involves direct interaction with founders and business owners, requiring the ability to communicate complex financial outcomes with clarity and commercial rigour. You will also oversee junior team members and contribute to proposal development and broader pipeline activity.
The ideal candidate will have 5+years’ experience within investment banking, corporate finance or a transaction advisory environment, with proven exposure to end-to-end M&A processes. Strong technical capability across financial modelling, valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions) and transaction execution is essential. Prior experience working with mid-market or owner-managed businesses is advantageous, as is exposure to private equity processes and buyer dynamics. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to independently manage workstreams, engage confidently with clients and contribute to mentoring junior team members.
