Associate Director, Energy Transition Advisory - Project Finance & M&A

A fantastic new opportunity to join a global Project Finance and M&A advisory deal team. Our client has recently opened their Sydney office to accelerate the energy transition in Australia and New Zealand, and covers M&A, debt advisory and strategic support, across all renewable and energy transitions technologies. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the rest of the worldwide team and the team spread out across their Singapore and Tokyo offices.

Key responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for advisory missions relating to financial structuring, raising required debt or supporting M&A equity finance transactions
• Supervising financial analyst on the development and management of financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects
• Gathering of market intelligence on sectors of interest to the company such as electricity markets, debt markets or venture capital markets
• Participating actively in Business Development in Australia and wider APAC region
• Active participation in an entrepreneurial, international and dynamic team focused on making projects happen

We are looking for someone with 8+ years relevant work experience, ideally in project finance/debt advisory or M&A within renewables/energy.
