A superb opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing Impact investor with capital ready to deploy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a socially-conscious organisation with a passion for delivering long-lasting positive impact.

Sydney Based Role - Australia, NZ market focus with some exposure to broader APAC.

The fund provides capital solutions to growth and defensive businesses or assets to enable long-term sustainable development. They target investments where there is a potential for value to be added, or scale to be achieved, not just through capital but also through the experience and expertise of their diverse investment team. They value partnerships and believe that value is created through the alignment of objectives and a commitment to teamwork. This is a forward-thinking business looking to help create meaningful environmental or social change.

The Role:

  • Analyse and evaluate new investment opportunities across a wide range of asset classes 
  • Prepare Investment Committee papers facilitating decisions about investments
  • Undertake portfolio analysis including performance characteristics; scenario planning; and tracking of impact and other metrics 
  • Build up expertise in specific impact investment strategies and relevant social/environmental issues
  • Undertake research projects which influence the firm's impact investment strategy
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with other forward-thinking investors and advisors

Candidate Profile: 

  • Ideally a foundation in investment banking or a role in which the candidate has developed financial modeling skills
  • An analytical nature, commercial acumen, collaboration and project management skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Clear interest in social equity and/or environmental sustainability
  • Flexible attitude with a proactive, self-starting approach
