Key Responsibilities:
- Collect information on potential infrastructure and energy investments, such as asset values, market trends, regulatory frameworks, and economic indicators.
- Assess geopolitical and environmental factors that could impact infrastructure projects.
- Build detailed financial models to project the financial performance of infrastructure and energy assets, considering factors like revenue, operating costs, and capital expenditures.
- Analyse cash flows, risks, and returns over long investment horizons (10+ years).
- Develop valuation models to estimate the current worth of infrastructure projects based on future income potential.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Assess the operational performance, technical feasibility, and legal/regulatory aspects of the projects.
- Evaluate risks, including financial, operational, and environmental risks.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for growth, improvement, or restructuring within the infrastructure portfolio.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
2-3 years' experience, ideally from M&A, either within an investment bank, or boutique advisor. Alternatively, if you work for a fund that invest in infrastructure or energy, I would like to hear from you. Only candidates that have Australian residency need apply.
