Investment Associate – Private Equity

We are partnering with a high-performing mid-market private equity firm to find an Investment Associate to join a fast-growing strategy within its Australian business. The strategy is relatively new, but backed by an established platform, combining institutional strength with the pace and autonomy of a build-out environment.

The role sits across the full investment lifecycle. You'll be evaluating new opportunities, building and stress-testing financial models, and supporting transaction execution from initial screening through to completion. Day-to-day you'll work closely with senior investors across due diligence, deal structuring and investment committee materials with real responsibility from early on, not a slow ramp.

The team is looking for someone with 2-5 years' experience in private equity, investment banking or consulting. Beyond the technical, you'll need genuine intellectual curiosity, sharp commercial instincts and sound judgement, alongside the ability to take ownership and operate effectively in a lean, high-performance environment.
