Portfolio Management / Monitoring – Private Capital

Our client is an established Investment Manager with a diversified platform investing across public and private markets. With a long-term investment approach and a flexible capital base, the firm partners with businesses across a broad range of sectors and geographies, underpinned by disciplined underwriting and a strong focus on risk‑adjusted returns.

The Portfolio Manager will support the ongoing monitoring of a diversified investment portfolio, working closely with investment teams and a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role has a strong analytical focus, covering portfolio performance analysis, reporting and compliance oversight, and the delivery of insights to support capital allocation decisions. You will also have regular interaction with portfolio company management teams and exposure to a variety of financing structures.

Key responsibilities include monitoring financial and operational performance across portfolio investments, identifying emerging risks, and contributing to periodic portfolio reviews. The role also involves maintaining financial models, preparing portfolio reporting and investment materials, and delivering clear, concise analysis to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years’ experience gained in a corporate or investment bank, or within a private capital or funds management platform.
